Last Known Location: Tia was dropped off at Battery Creek High School on the morning of her disappearance but did not return home later that day. Date: 04/04/2024

Tia Thacker was just 14 years old when she disappeared from Beaufort back on April 4, 2024. Tia may go by the first name Symonee or the last name Martin.

While some family members say they have been in contact with her at different times during the past year, according to Lieutenant Daniel Allen of the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office, this is still an active case. Deputies have reached out to both the Federal Bureau of Investigations and the South Carolina State Law Enforcement Division for assistance in finding Thacker.

Thacker may still be somewhere in South Carolina, possibly not too far from Beaufort. They also believe she may have traveled to Douglasville, Georgia, which is less than 25 miles from Atlanta. A third theory is that she may have made her way to one of the other surrounding states.

Nobody has seen Thacker since she was reported missing in April 2024.

UPDATE 02/19/2025:
Both Emily Hollis and Chace Eskeets have been located. The children were found together unharmed and in no distress. Emily Hollis and Chace Eskeets are in the custody of Florida Highway Patrol and their Families have been notified.

Chase Eskeets (16-years-old) is possibly with Emily Hollis (12-years-old) who is also a Runaway from Beaufort, SC. Chase and Emily were last seen on February 15, 2025. They are believed to be in the Jacksonville, Florida area and are traveling in a white 2008 Nissan Titan with a South Carolina license plate (2716RZ). The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office and the Jacksonville Police Department have been notified.

UPDATE 02/19/2025: BCSO is asking for the public's help in the Lowcountry and Grand Strand regions of South Carolina because new information leads investigators to believe Kamaya could be in Charleston or Myrtle Beach. There is concern for her safety and well-being. She now has distinctive short, orange-colored hair, that is braided.

Hair: Black & Orange Hair.

Kamaya does have connections to Charleston, SC. It is Unknown what she may have been wearing when she left.
